Practical Assessment Exploration System
A. Introduction:
My name is JamieLyn Johnson; I have been with the district for 13 years. I have two sons who attend school in the district, a husband that is a teacher at the Jr. School. I grew up in Harrison and I am now part of many different organizations.
Besides being an Intervention Specialist, I am also the Varsity Cheerleading coach and am in charge of the Interact Club. I love being involved with the programs here in Southwest.
B. Looking at the year:
I am very excited to be able to roll out our fourth year of the PAES program. PAES is a comprehensive curriculum that will provide employability training, exploration into job interest and work behavior development.
The students will need to wear a any color polo shirt, khaki pants and gym shoes on Tuesday and Thursdays starting Tuesday, August 28th. This will go hand and hand with students' transition plans.
C. Communications:
I have three ways to communicate with parents:

i. you will most likely have to leave a message and I will get back with you as soon as possible.
2. Email- jamie.johnson@southwestschools.org
3. Remind-
i. Text 81010 and put @f15e4 in the message area. I will use this to send newsletters, updates, reminders and any other information that is important to our class.
ii. This app also allow us to chat if needed!
