Are you going to Prom? Purchase a prom package raffle ticket for the chance to win 2 free prom tickets, a corsage and boutonniere, a free manicure, and a free tux. Tickets are on sale today, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The drawing is Wednesday so be sure to purchase tickets at lunch. Tickets are 1 for 2 dollars, 3 tickets for 5 dollars, 6 tickets for 10 dollars, and 12 tickets for 20 dollars.

The Ecology Club will have an Earth Day clean up of Dry Fork Creek on Tuesday, April 23. Please meet in Mr. Weber's room, Room 108, after school with gloves and dressed for muddy conditions.

Key Club members: You have one more opportunity to help out with the Kiwanis Fish Fry. Tomorrow we need two volunteers to run the fish fry from 3:30-5:30 and two volunteers from 5:30-7. Our help is crucial for the success of the fish fry. Please sign up outside Mrs. Siemer's room, Room 217. They are counting on us, so grab a buddy and sign up today! Thanks!

If you are interested in becoming a Cheerleader this coming fall, there will be a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, May 6th in the Media Center. Some forms will be online this year. If you need assistance with them you can come at 5:30 pm. The parent-cheerleader meeting will start at 6 pm.

Seniors: On Naviance, in the survey section, you will find a short survey from the Alumni Association. Please take time to fill it out, because the information will be used to help plan future reunions. Again, this survey is for Seniors and it's on Naviance.

Attention senior athletes: Mr. Meibers is looking for “Triple Crown Award” winners from this year's senior class.

If you have participated in three sports during your four-year athletic career at Harrison High School, please stop by Mr. Meibers' office this week.

Mr. Meibers will provide you with details about this award.

Are you interested in attending a military academy after graduation? Any student seeking admission to a military academy must have a Congressional Nomination by a Senator or a Representative of Congress. Representative Steve Chabot will be hosting an Academy Night on Tuesday, April 30th at 6 PM at Lebanon High School. There will also be representatives from West Point, Naval, and Air Force Academies to help answer your questions.

U.S. Military Academies have an acceptance rate of 9-18%. Get a jump on your plan and attend this evening event to help your chances of getting accepted.

Student Council seniors: The Student Council Scholarship is now available in Mrs. Hasenohr's room, Room 234. You must have been a member of student government at some point during the course of your high school career to apply. Applications are due April 26 to Mrs. Hasenohr.

Anyone interested in helping with the Special Olympic Rollerskating Event on Thursday, May 2, please stop by Room 122 for a permission slip.

The Wildcat JV Softball team picked up another huge team win Monday as they earned their 13th victory of the season. The Cats defeated the Taylor Yellowjackets 11-1 in 5 innings.

The Cats played air tight defense, committing no errors for the game. The offense rolled for the Cats as they had 13 hits.

Emma Speigle, Lauren Forte, and Abi Hudnall had multiple hits. Abi hit a double to score 2 runs and seal the victory in the 5th inning for the Wildcats.

Grace Zobel got the pitching win as she struck out 7 and only gave up one run, going the distance in the complete game victory.

JV Tennis had 1 winner against LaSalle on Wednesday. That was first singles player Jake Snyder. He won 6-0 and 6-0.

Varsity also had 1 winner at LaSalle. That was the doubles team of Dominic Fiorino and Mitchell Ruehl. They won in a third set tiebreaker.

ON THE MENU AT LUNCH MONDAY IN THE "W" CAFE IS A HOT HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH, WITH TOMATO SOUP, BROCCOLI, PINEAPPLE, PEACHES, AND MILK. IN THE FRESH FARE LINE, THE FEATURED ENTREE IS "DELI DESTINATION".
