Attention Seniors: If you have already had your senior portraits taken by our official yearbook photographer, and have returned your proofs, you can disregard this announcement. All other seniors who want to be included in the senior portrait section of the yearbook and on the Class of 2019 composite, must have their pictures taken by December 21! Additionally, all proofs with yearbook and composite selections can be dropped off to Mrs. Hinterlong this week, or can be mailed directly to the photographer. Please stop by Room 111 with any questions.

Today is your last chance to win a ginormous cup full of M and M’s and $10.00 gift card for Starbucks! Donate one dollar and guess the number of M and M’s. Closest to the mark wins it all. The winner will be announced at the end of the day today. All donations go to a good cause – helping HOSA students go to regionals. Thanks for your support and good luck!

Exams are next week, but so is Spirit Week! On Monday, wear a shirt representing your favorite college or professional sports team. Tuesday is a day full of exams, so roll out of bed and come to school in your favorite pajamas. Keep them school appropriate, please! On Wednesday, let your holiday spirit shine by wearing your favorite ugly sweater.

Your Academic Quiz Team kept it rolling on Wednesday versus league rival Talawanda winning both varsity matches. The Wildcats held the lead throughout the first match winning 58-45. The second match was a little more shaky. The Brave led the match through the first three rounds but a strong finish in the lightning round gave the Wildcats a 67-57 win. The JV lost by a narrow margin but the future looks bright for the academic team because a number of our new recruits this year show a lot of promise. Their next match isn’t until after the break when they face SWOC leaders, Little Miami.
