We are working hard to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association and will continue our efforts next week. Make sure you are checking between couch cushions, on the floor in your car, and in your coat pockets. We want to help send as many children as possible to MDA summer camp, so bring in donations again next week.

After Wednesday, the district has raised $3,316 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The freshmen are still in the lead with 18.5 pounds. Monday night, make plans to head to Skyline between 5 PM and 9 PM to participate in our last "dine to donate". Skyline donation flyers will be available at lunch today and Monday, so stop by and pick one up as you’re making your donations to the bins in the Cafeteria. We are also selling bracelets at lunch that will help support our fundraiser. We have many colors to choose from, so stop by during lunch to get yours for only $1.

- The Kiwanis Fish Fry on all Fridays during Lent, beginning February 28. The Fish Fry is located in the parking lot of FCN Bank and volunteers are needed to help take orders and assemble food.

Please see the sign up sheet outside Mrs. Siemer's room, Room 217, and please see Mrs. Siemer if you have any questions or want more information. Thanks!

The Harrison Academic Quiz Team won the end-of-season SWOC Tournament, making them reigning champs two years running! They beat the mighty Little Miami Panthers at the last second by 2 points. It was exhilarating! This win secures a team berth at the Southwest Regional Tournament on Saturday, April 18th at Little Miami High School. In addition, our own Ashley Green was voted Conference Player of the Year for the SWOC! She also received First Team All-Conference. Bill Law was awarded Second Team All-Conference, and Nate Parnell earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. Sophomore Vinny Fiorino was recognized with the SWOC Sportsmanship Award. Congratulations to everyone on the team for their hard work and dedication.

Your favorite Varsity Bowling team finished Sectionals this week. Unfortunately for the boys, their team missed advancing by a mere 47 pins. Senior Evan Mauldin will be missed. Our other senior, Sam Cross, qualified second and will advance to Districts next Thursday. Sam rolled games of 231 and 251. Good luck, Sammy!

The girls finished third overall and advance to Districts as a team! They were blazing hot and had the highest baker game in the house with a 214. Alyssa Pierce had the high game of 194, while Alyssa Perry was a close second with 187. Cassie Schultheis, Ashley Bley, Shannon Jacob and Kenzie Beavers all were great in various spots and had a lot of fun. The girls finished as undefeated 12-0 SWOC champs and are now advancing on to Districts. The girls will roll next Wednesday in Dayton. Good luck, ladies!
