We are in the home stretch of Homecoming Week at Harrison High School!

T-shirts and Homecoming Dance tickets will be on sale at lunch today. The dance is TONIGHT from 9:30-11:30 PM on the football field.

Remember that the game is tomorrow night. Kickoff is at 7, and the Court will be crowned at halftime.

Voting for Homecoming Prince, Princess, King, and Queen closes at 3 PM TODAY. The link can be found in your "Class Of" Teams page.

The Ecology Club will have a meeting after school next Thursday. The meeting will be followed by a hike at Shawnee Lookout Park at 4:00 PM. Please stop by Room 116 to get a permission slip and directions for the hike.

Any boy interested in playing high school basketball this year needs to stop by Mr. Sowders room, Room 215; or Mr. Thomas' room, Room 216; to sign up and pick up paperwork.

Tryouts begin on October 29th.

October is here, and Harrison DECA has made the decision to extend "Socktober", their annual sock drive, to the rest of the school and community. All this week, they encourage all students to bring in socks to their first bell teacher. They will be collecting through today, and the 1st bell class that collects the most socks will recieve a prize. Socks can also be brought to the homecoming football game tomorrow night, where they will be collected inside the gate. Please help make a difference by participating in "Socktober" this year!

The Senior Class is once again teaming up with Hoxworth Blood Center for a Blood Drive at our school. This event will take place on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, in the Activity Center. If you are 16 or older, you may be eligible to donate blood. Those who donate twice before their graduation will receive a red cord to wear at the Commencement ceremony. Stop by Mrs. Hinterlong's room, Room 111, for more information.

The Harrison High School Creative Arts Theater is back in-person for their annual haunted house, or in this case, their "Haunted Hospital".

The Haunted Hospital will be one night only, on October 23rd, from 7 to 10 PM at the Harrison Community Center.

Tickets are $5 at the door. The doctor will see you then!

There will be a College Fair, hosted by Miami University Regionals, on Thursday, October 28, from 6:30-8 PM in the Gym at Miami University Hamilton.

Prior to the college fair, there will be a "Financing Your Education" Workshop from 6:00–6:30 p.m. at Parrish Auditorium.

Northern Kentucky University and Thomas More University invite high school students and their families to attend the 2021 Northern Kentucky Regional College Fair.

The annual college fair will be held TONIGHT in Northern Kentucky University's Student Union Ballroom.

Over 75 colleges and universities from around the nation will be on hand to share information and answer your questions.

See your Guidance Counselor for more information.
