CHEERLEADING TRYOUT INFORMATION 2024-2025
Mandatory open gym: May 14-15 from 4-5pm
Tryouts: May 16 from 4-8pm
A MANDATORY parent and student meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 6:00pm in the HIGH SCHOOL cafeteria.
Items due the night of May 14:
- The handbook and cheer forms that must be completed online: Please review the handbook. Please complete cheer application.
- A paper copy of your Emergency Medical Authorization form (printed from Final Forms)
- 1 screenshot of your most recent report card (from Progress Book) shown to the coaches
- A copy of the Physical Form must be completed, signed by a doctor, and uploaded to your child's Final Forms account (or a valid one on file on Final Forms – those that played a sport at HJS this year can check their Final Forms account to verify it’s valid through 5/16/24).

Cheer uniform - Must be washed and AIR dried. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER! On loan from the cheer team. It must be returned exactly as it was given to you. A fine will be given if the uniform is not in the same condition.
Cheer bag and poms- On loan from the cheer team. It must be returned exactly as it was given to you. A fine will be given if the bag / poms are not in the same condition.
