CHEERLEADING TRYOUT INFORMATION 2025-2026
Mandatory Tryouts/Material review - May 14 & 15 / Junior school 3:00-4:30pm/ High School 4:30-6:00pm
Tryouts- Junior School-May 16- 4:00-6:00pm
Where: Harrison High School Cheerleading Room
DUE BY THE START OF TRYOUTS (3PM ON MAY 14):
- Emergency Medical Authorization form (printed and completed from Final Forms)
- Physical form (completed and signed by doctor) uploaded to Final Forms.
**ATHLETES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIAPTE IN TRYOUTS IF THESE DOCUMENTS ARE NOT COMPLETE**
Mandatory Parent Tryout Meeting:
When: May 14
Time: 6:30pm
Where: Harrison High School Cafeteria
(Must have athlete plus 1 adult)
- The handbook and cheer application that must be completed online by May 14: Please review the handbook. Please complete cheer application.
- A paper copy of your Emergency Medical Authorization form (printed from Final Forms)
- 1 screenshot of your most recent report card (from Progress Book) shown to the coaches
- A copy of the Physical Form must be completed, signed by a doctor, and uploaded to your child's Final Forms account (or a valid one on file on Final Forms – those that played a sport at HJS this year can check their Final Forms account to verify it’s valid through 5/16/25).

Cheer uniform - Must be washed and AIR dried. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER! On loan from the cheer team. It must be returned exactly as it was given to you. A fine will be given if the uniform is not in the same condition.
Cheer bag and poms- On loan from the cheer team. It must be returned exactly as it was given to you. A fine will be given if the bag / poms are not in the same condition.
