Southwest Local School District knows that for many of our students, their first formal learning begins with Kindergarten. Therefore, we are committed to providing the highest quality educational foundation to our youngest students. We want to create in them a desire to learn and discover. Research shows that children who have a positive initial educational experience will develop an interest in learning and tend to be more successful academically overall.

Kindergarten registration for the 2019/2020 school year begins Thursday, February 1, 2019. To enter kindergarten, a child must be five (5) by September 30, 2019. For more information, please visit the Kindergarten registration page.
