Summer School

As Summer School will begin June 12th, we would like to try and clear up any confusion you may have.  Below we have listed many of our Summer School options along with the requirements.

JS Summer School Students

All Junior School students recommended for Summer School will be required to be in-person each day from 8am-12pm, beginning on 6/12 and in ending on 6/30.  The location of classes will be in the High School.  The curriculum will focus on Math and English and use an online platform to work from.  They will receive their laptops on 6/12 and immediately report to their classroom to begin work.

High School English

Students enrolling in a High School English class will be required to be in-person during the allotted time.  The curriculum used is a mix of online and in-class assignments.  See below for details.

HS English: 1st Semester, 6/12 - 6/21 IN PERSON

HS English: 2nd Semester, 6/22 - 6/30 IN PERSON

Underclassmen Summer School

Any students who were Freshmen or Sophomores in the 2022-2023 school year will be required to attend in-person classes the duration of Summer School.  They will get their laptop on 6/12 and report to the MakerSpace to work on their assignments each day from 8am-12pm.

Upperclassmen Summer School

Any students who were Juniors or Seniors in the 2022-2023 school year will have the option to work remotely to complete their courses.  They will still need to pick up their laptops on 6/12.  They are welcome to stay each day to work if they choose each day.

Advanced Credit

Students partaking in Advanced Credit such as Health will work remotely from home.  However, ALL HEALTH STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE MANDATORY TRAINING ON 6/13 from 8am to 12pm.
