HJS Update
We wanted to share the following information this morning to help families plan for this week.
Final Forms & Weather
As we approach the coldest week of the school year, we wanted to share with our families that we will be opening our doors at 6:45 this week to allow families to drop off their students a little bit earlier. We know that many families drop their children off prior to school and in many cases, those family members have to be to work by 7:00. With the super cold weather this week, we want to ensure that we can help out as a school. A special thank you to the teachers & staff members coming in early this week to help with supervision of these students.
In addition, please make sure that you have your Final Forms updated. This is how we will send out notifications of any delays or closings. This is the first place where our families will be notified school closures and delays.
Harrison HS/JS PTO Drive - A Message from our PTO
Harrison Jr. Sr. High PTO is sponsoring a Tissue Drive and we need your help! We would like to collect boxes of tissues, rolls of paper towels, and/or Clorox/Lysol wipes to help the teachers stock their rooms. Many teachers have been funding these items from their own money, and we would like to help them out. We will have a drop off location at both the Junior and Senior high schools January 22nd-26th in the morning during student drop off. If your student rides the bus, please send your donation with your student. Thanks so much for helping with this much needed collection!
Don't forget, later this Winter we will host our 2nd Annual Harrison Community Cyclones game! Our Chorus will be performing the National Anthem, our Band will be doing "Split the Pot" and a portion of all ticket sales through our link will go to our PTO. We will be sharing information about this event later this week!
