Important Information

Harrison High School Families,

As a follow up to our announcement that the high school will be shifting to remote learning December 14-18, prior to Holiday Break, I am sharing with our families the specific expectations and next steps for students and staff.

On Friday, December 11, students need to take home any items they need from school, including their computers, chargers, and any textbooks. Additionally, students who have lockers must clear all items out of their lockers to ensure that we can complete a deep clean over the break.

Click HERE for our schedule while we are remote.  Please note:  RTI – is office hour and extra help time.

Please know that students and teachers are required to be present and logged onto their TEAMS at the beginning of each bell, and they should remain online for the duration of the bell.  Teachers are required to take daily attendance.

We also want to make sure our families know what the expectations are for our students when they get online.

Students will adhere to our guidelines and code of conduct online as they would in person, including our dress code, appropriate background, with the camera on.

Click HERE for the Remote 2.0 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). These are answers to questions that were asked by both parents and students concerning remote learning.

Thanks to our staff and students following the in-person guidelines, we were able to keep our students face-to-face for the first 15 weeks of the school year! There have been significant improvements to our online platforms, Microsoft TEAMS and OneNote, since launch last March. Our students have made incredible progress and increased their online skills utilizing the Microsoft platform, therefore, the transition to online should be seamless.

If you have any concerns, questions or need additional individualized support, please encourage your student to take advantage of teacher RTI/Office hours. They can contact teachers directly via TEAMS to receive extra support.

For our students involved in extra-curricular activities, please contact your advisor or coach directly for information regarding your club/sport.  The advisor/coach will provide you with the most up-to-date information about your program.

Meals will be available for those in need on Tuesday, December 15, from 10 – 11AM. Please call the High School office at 513-367-4169 to place your order for next week, before 3PM on Friday, December 11.  Distribution will take place at the high school student entrance canopy on the north side of the building.

The ACT for Saturday December 12th will still take place at the high school. Masks are required.

Your administrative team is always available to support your family and answer any questions you may have during next week’s remote schedule.  Please reach out to us at 513-367-4169.

All the best,
Matthew Lindley,
Principal WHHHS
