HOSA Sending 27 to State Competition

Harrison HOSA students competed at their Southwest Ohio Regionals on Saturday with great success! The school posted a record number of first place finishes! Twelve teams or individuals took first place in their competition category, including:

The team of Erin Heyob, Lydia Leurck and Dannon Lotz for Biomedical Debate,

Morgan Haynie for Behavioral Health,

The team of Kennedy Ashley and Emily Davis for their Community Awareness Project,

The Emergency Medical Technician team of Emma Diersing and Kylie Frederick,

The Forensic Science team of Joshua Evanson and Judah Hannon,

Kavya Patel for her Health Career Photography Presentation,

Zaina Shindi for Medical Reading,

Alex Miller for Prepared Speaking,

Gabby Goerler for Physical Therapy,

Julia Harmon for Researched Speaking,

Terrin Jackson for Pharmacy Science, and

Sapphire Sabatine qualified in the Sports Medicine category.

In total, twenty-seven students qualified to move on to the State Leadership Competition in Columbus this spring. Congratulations to all who competed and good luck to those moving on.
