DECA Sending 12 to Orlando for Internationals

This past weekend, 114 Harrison DECA students traveled to Columbus, Ohio to compete in the Ohio Career Development Conference. The students represented Harrison High School with class and in a professional manner the entire weekend.

Congratulations to the record number of State Finalists. Harrison DECA had 52 students reach the finals in their respective categories. Harrison DECA had 12 students finish in the top 4, earning their way to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida.


National Qualifiers include:

Junior Levi Tidwell - 4th place in Personal Financial Literacy,

Sophomore Beth Mason - 4th place in Entrepreneurship,

Seniors Conner Egan and Chris Reckelhoff - 3rd place in Entrepreneurship Team Event,

Junior Gabby Brandner - 2nd place in Business Services,

Seniors Kyle Farfsing and Christian Sovern - 2nd place in Business Law and Ethics,

Senior Sydney Neckel - 2nd place in Marketing Communications,

Freshman Eve King - State Champion in Principles of Business,

Sophomore Lyndsi Moore - State Champion is Business Growth Plan, and

Seniors Gillian Metzger and Emily Webster - State Champion in Integrated Marketing Campaign Event.
