Class of 2020 Named 4th of July Parade Grand Marshals

Posted on: June 3, 2020
4th of July

Parents and Seniors in the Class of 2020,

As a means of honoring the Class of 2020, Harrison Mayor Bill Neyer is inviting all members of the class to serve as Grand Marshals of the Harrison 4th of July Parade.

Seniors are asked to enter the Harrison Community Center via the Etta Avenue gate and park in one of the two rear lots.  You should then report to your staging location, which will be the corner of George St. and Broadway.  Line up starts at 3:00 PM and the parade begins at 4:00 PM.

Students are asked to wear your senior t-shirts or another Harrison shirt if you do not have a senior shirt.  Signs are also welcome.  Nothing can be handed out or tossed along the parade route (candy for example).  The group will be provided as much space as necessary so that social distancing guidelines can be maintained.  Please email Parade Coordinator Kim Sovern at ksovern@harrisonohio.gov to confirm your attendance.

Please plan to join your fellow graduates on July 4 to take part in this honor from the City of Harrison!
