Camp Wildcat Follow-Up Information
Class of 2027 Families,
We wanted to provide you with some brief additional information as we prepare to welcome your students for Camp Wildcat on Tuesday, August 8. As a reminder, students with last names A – L will report from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and students with last names M – Z will report from 12:00 PM– 2:00 PM. We will have a very tight schedule, so please make every effort to make sure that your student is a few minutes early.
We are asking all students to be dropped off at the Activity Center, located across West Road from the High School. Please take a moment to view the arrival/dismissal traffic pattern found here, and please note the purple arrows. Students will check-in in the Activity Center and we will begin the presentations for each session in the Theater. The students will then go to the main building to get a copy of their schedule where they can then walk the building and complete a scavenger hunt of the building. After completing their scavenger hunt, they will receive their laptop and a free treat from Lindsey’s Shaved Ice courtesy of our PTO. (Please note that if your student has not returned his/her laptop from the 2022-2023 school year, we cannot issue them a laptop on Tuesday)
Students will be dismissed promptly at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM (depending on their session) from the main entrance. Please take a moment to view the arrival/dismissal traffic pattern found here, and please note the blue and green arrows.
With only 115-120 students at each session, we will not have a full complement of staff to assist with and direct traffic, but our hope is that this experience will help you get familiar with the daily flow for arrival and dismissal.
