A Cappella Choirs Qualify for Semi-Finals

Our High School A Cappella Groups, DYNAMIX and Take Note, both competed in Quarterfinals for The International Competition of High School A Cappella.

DYNAMIX placed third, and Take Note won a Wild Card Submission for the competition, so both groups will now be moving on to compete in Semifinals hosted here at the Activity Center on Saturday, March 19th. This is the first time in the history of our a cappella groups that both Harrison groups are advancing to Semifinals together.

Two members of DYNAMIX also received special awards at Quarterfinals. Senior Robby Mumfrey received the award for outstanding choreography for DYNAMIX’s entire set, and Junior Cora Woods received the award for outstanding solo for “As The World Caves In”.
