Reminder: State of the Schools is Tuesday

All Southwest Local School District stakeholders are invited to the annual State of the Schools Night on Tuesday, August 8.  The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7:00 PM in the Martin Marietta Performing Arts Theater at the Activity Center.

The program will last approximately one hour and will recap successes of the previous school year and preview the upcoming one - what's new, what's good, what’s challenging and what's changing.  The presentations will be succinct and wide-ranging, including curriculum, the State Report Card, the Quality Profile, pupil services, financial status, food service, transportation, and more.  There will also be an update on enrollment and the Community Engagement process currently underway to determine the course of action for school facilities moving forward.  A period of Q&A will take place at the end of the forum.
