MWE Report Card Ratings
The Ohio Department of Education released 2022-23 report card results. Miami Whitewater Elementary and the Southwest Local School District now receive an overall rating and star ratings for five components. The four components that are applicable at the Elementary level are Achievement, Progress, Gap Closing, & Early Literacy.
Report Cards are designed to give parents, communities, educators, and policymakers information about the performance of districts and schools — to celebrate achievement and success and identify areas for improvement. The information provides clear and easily available reporting on student performance, drives local conversations on school improvement and identifies schools to receive supports for getting better. The goal is to ensure all students in the state of Ohio receive an excellent education that can lead to success in life, careers and future learning.
Miami Whitewater Elementary's 2022-23 report card results are HERE! We are thrilled to share that our overall rating (on a scale of 1-5 stars) is 4.5 STARS!!! Would you love to stay at a 4.5 star hotel with your family? Do you have confidence when sending your kids to a 4.5 star school? We sure hope so! Congratulations to our students, teachers, and staff members for their persistence and hard work. Education can be challenging at times, and earning 4.5 stars is an improvement from previous years! It's time to CELEBRATE!
