Important 5th Grade Parent Meeting
We are incredibly excited to welcome our incoming 6th Grade families to Harrison Junior School. This is an exciting time for both students and families, but we recognize that it is a big transition - one that can bring out some anxiety for students and parents alike.
This year, we will be hosting our incoming 6th Grade Parent Night on Wednesday, February 15th in the Harrison Junior School Commons. This is just inside the main entrance of the school. Parking will be available in the main lot, as well as the bus lot between Harrison Junior School and Miami Whitewater Elementary.
This year, we will host 2 different presentations. Our first presentation will be for students with last names beginning with A-L at 6:00 P.M. Our 2nd presentation will be for last names M-Z at 7:00 P.M. Each presentation will be the same, so if you need to come to the other presentation feel free if it better accommodates your family.
In addition, our leadership team will be visiting your child’s elementary school during the day on February 15th to discuss the transition to the Junior School.
The other piece that is upcoming for your child is that we will begin scheduling our incoming 6th Grade students for classes. We will discuss this process as part of welcoming you to Harrison Junior School on February 15.
