Posted on: October 25, 2019
Veterans Day

Harrison High School and Harrison Junior School will again join forces to headline the Southwest Local School District's efforts to honor our Veterans and Active Duty military.  Our annual Veteran’s Breakfast and Assembly will take place Friday, November 8th at the Activity Center.  Breakfast for the Veterans begins at 8:00 AM, and the Assembly begins at 8:45 AM.

All United States Military veterans and current United States Military personnel are invited to attend.

A complimentary breakfast sponsored by JTM for our Veterans and Military Service members is scheduled for 8:00 AM and will take place in the Bistro of the Activity Center.  The Program will begin at 8:45 AM on the floor of the Wildcat Arena and will conclude no later than 10:00 AM.

The program will feature student and staff tributes, patriotic music from the Harrison Wildcat Concert Choir, Concert Band, members of the JROTC Program, cheerleaders, guest speakers, and representatives from each branch of the United States Military.  In addition to our guests, the program will be attended by faculty and staff members as well as approximately 1,800 students representing grades 6-12.

If you are a past or current member of the United States Military, regardless of your residence, please consider this your invitation for you and your spouse (or guest) to contact Harrison High School at 513-367-4169 to allow us to plan for an approximate number of guests for this breakfast and to arrange for your special seating for the Veterans Day Assembly.
