SLSD Health Update
How we conduct the first week of 2nd semester (January 4-8, 2021) will depend on the case count in our schools and community. We aim to give our families as much notice as possible, but with the fluidity of the situation, this decision can be tricky. For schools to remain open, it is vitally important for families to continue to follow the necessary safety guidelines and keep their ‘bubble’ confined to their immediate family only over the holiday break. We cannot afford to let our guard down or continue on this streak of positive cases after the upcoming holidays.
Please continue to keep us updated over the break if your child has tested positive for COVID, or if they have been quarantined due to a close contact situation. Email your child’s principal with any updates. This information will be vital as we plan for the start of second semester on January 4.
