Shower with Kindness Hygienic Product Drive
Shower with Kindness Hygienic Product Drive

Happy Fourth Quarter!
Student leaders at the high school are once again spearheading the Southwest Local School District Shower With Kindness hygienic product drive. In what is now our fifth year, we continue to see increasing success within this drive and hope to maximize our district’s impact for students in need.
The drive will take place Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 9th, with all products being picked up by high school students on Wildcats Give Back Day on Wednesday, May 14th. Collection bins will be provided for all schools.
With summer break fast approaching, my team and I know the need for personal hygiene product access and education is high among our elementary and middle school students. In addition to product collection, we will be providing schools with student-focused personal hygiene infographics and additional hygiene education. Examples of needed items are listed below:

Toothpaste
Shampoo
Conditioner
Body wash or soap

Hairbrush or comb
Floss
Mouthwash
Cotton swabs (Q-tips)
