Opt-In Text for Emergency Notification Messages

Important Information
Elementary Parents and Guardians,
 
When you completed your online forms through Final Forms, you should have received a test text message from School Messenger (our mass notification platform) if your number was newly registered or was updated.  It is important that you text back Y (for YES) to opt-in to receive emergency notifications.  Even though you registered your number, if you do not respond to the opt-in text, you will not receive messages.  This is a requirement by the FCC to prevent cell phone spam.  
 
If you feel you did not receive the opt-in text, or possibly ignored it, you can text Y to 67587.  This will confirm your registration.
 
Please note that if you have registered your number previously, if there have been no changes, and you have been receiving messages, you would not have received the test text and no further action is necessary.
 
We will be doing a full test of the system on Friday afternoon.  More details on that to follow.
