Harrison Elementary Update
Below are some important information that you need to know:
1. Class lists will be posted on Friday, August 4th at 3:00 pm. If you did not complete your Final Forms for this upcoming school year and/or paid your school fees from last year, your child's name will not be listed in a classroom. It is very important that we have each students' Final Forms completed before the start of the new school year. If you need to pay last year's school fees or any other fee on your child's account, please stop by the school office between the hours of 7 am - 3 pm. Call before coming in in the event that the office is closed due to meetings or vacations. Class lists will be posted on the back windows by the playground.
2. Open House will take place on August 10th. Students whose last name beings with A-K will have their Open House from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm. Those students whose last name begins with L-Z will have their Open House from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. If you have any questions please call the school office. Open House will be for all students kindergarten through 5th grade.
3. The first day of school for students will be August 15th. School hours have not changed - 9:10 am - 3:40 pm. The building will open at 8:40 am for breakfast and students to go to their homeroom classrooms.
4. We are still looking for THREE - RtI part time aides (10 am - 3:30 pm M-F). Please complete the Classified job application listed on the District Web Site or click on the link below. Pay begins at $14.00 per hour. Please email the application to Mr. Mangus (Ron.Mangus@southwestschools.org) or drop off at the school office.

5. We are still looking for a morning and afternoon crossing guard stationed at the front of the building. Hours are 8:15 am - 9:15 am and 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm M-F. Please complete the Classified job application listed on the District Web Site or click on the link below. Please email the application to Mr. Mangus or drop off at the school office.

6. If you still need to register a new student for the upcoming school year this needs to happen now!!! Click on the following web address - https://www.southwestschools.org/home and click on the New Student Registration at the top of the page in the black banner. It takes about 5 days to get fully registered and you don't want to miss Open House or the First Day of School. If you have any questions about the registration process please call 513-367-4139.
