5th Grade Visit to HJS
We are so excited to have met your children today as part of our transition activities to Harrison Junior School. Your children were incredible.
Today, there were many important things that took place that we wanted to share with each of you.
First, we spent a great deal of time today talking about our core values of Trust, Respect, Ownership, and Leadership. These core values are district-wide, but we shared how they look different for students as they enter HJS.
Secondly, each of your students received their schedule for next year, and the majority of the students had the opportunity to tour the building and walk their schedule. However, many of them may not have finished the full tour as they are learning. Rest assured, we will give them lots of time during the summer and opening the 2023-24 School Year.
Third, and this is very important: If you or your child want to make a schedule change request, they must do so by clicking HERE and completing the Form. This form must be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, May 17th. This will allow our school counselors the opportunity to work on the changes and update schedules prior to students departing for the summer.
Finally, your students did an amazing job at lunch today and we hope they enjoyed it, along with the Pep Assembly!
