Athletic Adventures Await
Explore the World of Robotics
In an era driven by STEM, Robotics Camp offers young innovators the chance to explore the realms of engineering and programming. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will design, build, and program their own robots, honing their problem-solving skills and creativity along the way. Campers will also participate in a fast-paced tournament!
Students who have previously attended camp will learn to build additional mechanisms for additional scoring potential!
Robotics Camp takes place August 5-8 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon in the Harrison High School Engineering Lab, and is open to students who were in grades 3-5 in the 2023-2024 school year. The cost is $100 per student which includes camp, a t-shirt, and pizza on Thursday. Students can request other students for their group, or groups will be assigned.

Unleash Creativity in Ceramics
For those with a penchant for art and craftsmanship, Ceramics Camp provides a hands-on experience in sculpting and pottery. From molding clay to firing finished pieces, campers will unleash their creativity and imagination, producing unique works of art to cherish for years to come.
Ceramics Camp is offered two separate weeks: June 10-14 or June 17-21. Each week offers two session options: 9:00-11:30 AM or 12:30-3:00 PM. The cost is $120 per person, and includes all supplies. Camp will take place in the Miami Whitewater Elementary Art Room. It's ideal for students entering 4th grade - 8th grade (but other ages are welcome).
The camp will focus on clay techniques including hand building, coiling, carving, practice at the wheel (with adult assistance), and glazing techniques. Students should plan to stay for the entire time to complete the planned projects. Dress for a mess and plan to have fun!

Explore Nature through Art
Come explore all that nature has to offer through different art media (painting, printing, sculpture, clay) and more! This program is ideal for students entering grades 2-8 (but other ages are welcome). It will take place June 24-28 and two sessions are being offered: 9:00-11:00 AM or 1:00-3:00 PM. The cost is $80 per person, and includes all supplies.
Students should plan to stay for the entire time to complete the planned projects. Dress for a mess and plan to have fun!

Drama Camp: The Stage is Set
Lights, camera, action! Drama camp offers budding actors and actresses the chance to shine on stage.
Drama Camp takes place June 24-27 from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM at the Activity Center. There will be a performance at noon on the 27th, including 2 musical numbers and 7 scenes. Each camper will be in 1 musical number and 1 scene. An entire play will not be presented, as this is a learning camp, but you can anticipate wonderful performances!
It's open to students entering grades 2-8 in the 2024-2025 school year. The cost is $75 and the deadline to register is June 10.
