SLSD Health Update

Posted on: December 2, 2020
COVID

Spikes in both cases and hospitalizations are occurring throughout the State of Ohio and Hamilton County.  Small group gatherings, as well as community events, are major spreader events in our area.  When holiday spikes occur in the community, the schools feel the ripple effect. The positive cases in our schools, and the number of kids quarantined as a result of a positive family member or sibling, is higher than it’s been all school year.  We are in a desperate position as we work to keep our doors open.

It’s important that our family members understand the importance of properly wearing masks when in public, and limiting social gatherings or the like, until we get through this phase of the virus.
