Congratulations to all of the HOSA students who made the trip to Columbus for the State Leadership Conference.

All Harrison competitors qualified for 2nd round competition; however, the highest honors went to Senior Hayley Harmon who, for the second year in a row, reigned as State Champ in the Nutrition Knowledge Test. She was also awarded one of only two statewide scholarships by Ohio HOSA.

Another team to win the state championship and advance to the International Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, this summer is the team of Megan Fliter, Molly Jezek and Alison Rolfes. Their Public Service Announcement promoting a tobacco-free life was awarded first place.

HOSA stands for Health Occupations Students of America, and is an organization that helps prepare students who plan to major in a health sciences / medical field.  Well done, Wildcats!
