Competition Cheer Team Places 2nd in Nation!

The Competition Cheer team competed in the UCA National High School Cheer Championships held in Orlando, Florida.

In order to participate in this competition, teams must qualify their routines by hitting a certain score at a regional competition. The team qualified both their Traditional routine and their Gameday routine, competing against top teams from across the country. 

The team performed three times with zero deductions, an amazing accomplishment. Their performance routine advanced to finals and earned a 2nd place finish in the nation! Even more impressive — this was the first time Harrison has ever taken a performance routine to Nationals. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and historic achievement!

The team consists of:

Seniors: Hannah Peterson and Emma Schomaker. 

Juniors: Kaitlyn Dettmer, Kaylie Holbert, Alexis Hunter, Addie Lemmel, Kalli Mobley, Dani Motsinger, Jenna Patton, Bree Robertson and Jay Vogel. 

Sophomores: Brooke Borgemenke, Adi Greer, Ellie Hopkins and Macey Schuck.

Freshmen: Olivia Anderson, Amelia Jarvis, Alexandria Jones and Savana Moore.
