Parent Meeting Regarding '24-'25 6th Grade Math Curriculum
Families of current 5th graders are invited to attend an important meeting regarding a few significant changes to our junior school mathematics curriculum and our revised 6th grade mathematics offerings for the 2024-2025 school year. We would like to host you at Harrison Junior School on Monday, December 18 from 6:00-6:45 PM in the Junior School Cafeteria to hear about the changes.
During the meeting we will go over a new course offering: 6th grade Accelerated Math, and the curricular changes that have been made to 6th grade Advanced Math. We will also discuss the new selection process for entrance into the junior school mathematics courses beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. Finally, Mr. Tracy will go over some preliminary scheduling information to explain the process and let you know what to expect after Winter Break. There will also be time for you to ask any questions you may have.
