SAFETY
LOCKDOWN AND EVACUATION DRILL
On Thursday, November 30th, we conducted a lockdown/evacuation drill in conjunction with county emergency services. Just like fire drills, this annual drill helps prepare our students and staff for an emergency situation. If you have any questions regarding the drill, please contact Mrs. Aghotte or Mr. Kinnett. If the drill has caused your child any anxiety, please contact Mrs. Lee, our school counselor. See the website below for tips on how to speak to young children about intruder drills.
PROJECT ADAM DRILL
Crosby Elementary will be participating in the Project Adam Drill the week of December 11th. See the information letter below for details.

CLASSROOM ANTICS
Another exciting after school opportunity is coming to Crosby 4th and 5th Grade students. Each session is limited to 15 students, but if there is enough interest, they will run multiple sessions. There is a fee involved and I will send out all the details once we have signed the final paper work with them. Look for it to come in the next week or so.
COUNSELING SERVICES
At Crosby Elementary, we have several levels of mental health support for students. Mrs. Lee, our full-time school counselor, is the first line of contact for any of your student’s social or emotional needs. We also partner with Best Point (formally Children’s Home) to offer school therapy to students. Best Point also offers Care Coordination to help parents in the home as well. A Best Point referral can be made by Mrs. Lee or by you as the parent or guardian:
