SAFETY
BULLY PREVENTION FORUM
The district will be hosting a Bully Prevention Forum on October 18th. See the flier for more information.
TRANSPORTATION SHORTAGE
We have been very lucky over the last several years and have not had to cancel any routes due to the national bus shortage. This year we are having difficulty finding bus drivers. There are a few drivers who are going to be out with surgery later in the year and we are working now to try to fill those spots so that routes will not have to be canceled. If you know anyone who would be interested in being a bus driver, you can find the posting on our school’s website.

POLINATOR GARDEN
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Cincinnati Nature Center to plant a pollinator garden in our courtyard. Mrs. Hursh has been instrumental in organizing this endeavor. Therefore, the 3rd grade students will be helping to plant the garden on November 1st.

If you haven’t attended one of the Community Town Hall Meetings, please consider attending the last one at Harrison High School on October 10th from 6-8 p.m. Your input is important in planning for our district’s future!
23-24 STUDENT FEES
All students in half day Kindergarten – 5th grade have a school fee set by the Board of Education, which is used to purchase educational materials and other items used by each student. The fee for the 2023-24 school year will be $70.00 ($60 + $10 tech fee). Full day kindergarten is tuition based. Deadline for payment of fees is October 2, 2023. COUNSELING SERVICES
At Crosby Elementary, we have several levels of mental health support for students. Mrs. Lee, our full-time school counselor, is the first line of contact for any of your student’s social or emotional needs. We also partner with Best Point (formally Children’s Home) to offer school therapy to students. Best Point also offers Care Coordination to help parents in the home as well. A Best Point referral can be made by Mrs. Lee or by you as the parent or guardian:
