We hope you are enjoying your summer! It is hard to believe we are at the half-way point. We have been working hard this summer to make sure we have a smooth start in August. Please take a minute to read the important information below and help us start off on the right foot!

Joanne Aghotte, Principal

Kyle Kinnett, Dean of Students

CLASS LIST POSTINGS

Class lists will be posted on Friday, August 4th at 10:00 a.m. on the front doors of Crosby Elementary. If you have not UPDATED your child’s Final Forms by July 28th, their name will NOT be on the list. If you need assistance accessing forms, Ms. Patty will be happy to help!

FINAL FORMS

All parents & guardians of former students need to log in to Final Forms and update their child’s information. There is also an additional question regarding your child’s t-shirt size. If your child’s forms are updated by Friday, July 21st, your child will be guaranteed a t-shirt at the start of the school year.

OPEN HOUSE

Mark your calendar for Thursday, August 10th for Open House for Grades K-5.  If your child’s last name starts with A-L, we encourage you to attend between 4:00-5:30 p.m. If your child’s last name starts with M-Z, we encourage you to attend between 5:30-7:00 p.m. If for scheduling purposes you need to attend the other session, that is fine, we are just trying to spread out for parking purposes.

Kindergarten will not be doing orientation this year, parents and students should plan on attending Open House.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Mark your calendars! The first day of school is Tuesday, August 15th!

We will continue to have phase-in days for kindergarten so that students can learn the routine in a smaller group. Half of the Kindergarten students will start on the 15th and the other half will start on the 16th. Ms. Patty will send a Sign-up genius out on August 4th for you to select which date you prefer. All Kindergarten students will then come to school on Thursday, August 17th.
