Crosby Ribbon Cutting Logistics
We are very excited for Sunday's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Building Tour!
A few things to note if you plan on coming to the ceremony:
1. The final driveway and parking area are not completed, but there is gravel down for Sunday's event.
2. You will enter through a temporary entrance just past the former car rider entrance. There will be someone on New Haven to help direct you into the area.
3. The lot behind the school is not being used for public parking. We will use this area for buses that transport the band, choir, JROTC, etc. as well as the location of the ceremony. If you have someone who needs handicap parking, let the parking assistants know and they will assist you in where to park.
4. We ask that you park in the gravel lot in the front of the new building. There will be people there to help direct you. There are approximately 50 spots located in that area.
5. For overflow parking, we will also be offering two shuttle buses from the Crosby Senior Center starting at 11:30 a.m. The shuttle bus is considered public transportation and is subject to the Transportation Mask Mandate, therefore you will be required to wear a mask while being shuttled from the Crosby Senior Center to Crosby Elementary. Masks will be provided if needed.
6. The ceremony will take place around the back of the school at the bus entrance- looking at the front of the building it is on the left side. We ask that you do NOT go through the building and walk around either side to the back of the building. We don't want to ruin the excitement of the ribbon cutting and grand opening!
