    • An excellent blog giving parents tips and advice on teaching your teens responsible use of social media and technology, and monitoring your teen's use of their devices. 
    • Updated regularly, the blog is written by Stephen J. Smith, Director of Education Leadership for Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions. Mr. Smith gave a presentation to students in grades 6-11, as well as community members, in January of 2015 regarding stopping teens from "sexting", the responsible use of technology, and the legal consequences for irresponsible usage.
  • Common Core Standards in English Language Arts and Math
    • The state of Ohio has teamed up with 44 other states in adoptiong the Common Core State Standards. The changes will impact both WHAT every K - 12 student learns in Ohio. It will change HOW students learn - with an emphasis on both depth, and connections to real-world scenarios. The change is welcome by many, but will take time to fully grasp the change. For additional information on these changes - check out this link.
    • The transition to the Common Core State Standards will be complete by the end of the 2013 - 14 school year. The new state assessments will be fully implemented by the 2014 - 15 school year.

    • eFORMAT will let you apply for free or reduced meals through an easy and fully compliant Web interface. Simply set up your account, select which students you’d like to apply for, and our service will walk you through the application process step-by-step.

    • SLSD will offer PayForIt.net for online payment of student fees and activity fees, replacing EZPay with an easy and secure way to manage your students at any time. With our free PayForIt app for Android and iPhone, you can make payments and view student information from anywhere.
  • PayPAMS
    • PayPams will allow you to put money on your student meal accounts, and view information about daily food purchases. There is a $1.00 convenience fee for each PayPams transaction.
  • ProgressBook - Parent / Student Access
  • Student Data Management System (SDMS)
    • Our SDMS interface will let you complete registration for any forms involving enrollment, emergency medical contact, Internet use, and more. You can also complete athletic registration. This process will be completed online beginning with the 2015-16 school year.
