We invite our students to take advantage of finding scholarships and college money via various avenues:

Local Scholarships- These scholarships are sent to us via mail, email, phone calls and/or in person. Local companies and families look to donate scholarship monies to well deserving students. You can find these listed on the Naviance website under the College tab, scroll down to Scholarships & Money and click on Scholarship List. This list will be populated throughout the year as we are made aware of scholarships. Please see Mrs. Acra for specific local scholarship questions.

University Scholarships- These scholarships are offered by individual Colleges and Universities. Some may be Merit- based (grades), or field of study-based, community involvement-based, high school involvement-based, or more! Please contact the financial office of University/College that your student is interested in to find out all the opportunities for you student.

National Scholarships- These scholarships are open to the public (not restricted to our high school seniors). You can find scholarships just about anywhere. We recommend Fastweb.com to our students, as well as the National Scholarship Search located in Naviance which is in partnership with Sallie Mae. Please note that Fastweb will send you notification emails for every available scholarship that your student is eligible for, so we recommend using an email that you won't mind getting multiple emails sent to daily! About Raise.me:
Raise.me is a social enterprise working in partnership with the White House and over 180 colleges to expand access to higher education by improving the way students prepare for college—both financially and academically. Rather than waiting until the end of high school to award aid, which is often too late to impact a student’s college ambitions or choices, Raise.me enables students to earn grant aid throughout high school, starting as early as 9th grade, for doing all the things that best prepare them to succeed, whether that’s getting good grades, volunteering in the community or joining an extracurricular. The amount that students earn from a college on Raise.me represents a guaranteed minimum amount of aid they’ll receive if they apply and are admitted to that college.
