WHHHS Update
We are off to a great start to the 2nd Quarter, and winter sports and activities are officially underway! While we are still early in the quarter, please continue to review your student’s grades in ProgressBook. Please feel free to contact their teacher, guidance counselor, or an administrator with any questions. Our expectation is that grades are updated in ProgressBook once per week and that any email or phone call is returned within 24 business hours. If you are experiencing problems accessing ProgressBook, please reach out parentaccess@southwestschools.org.
HEALTH & WELLNESS INFORMATION:
With the upcoming cold and flu season upon us, please remember to keep students home when sick to help prevent spread. Students must be free of fevers, vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours, without the use of medication, before returning to school. Please contact the school if your student will be out. Let's stay healthy and safe this winter!
ADVANCED PLACEMENT INFORMATION NIGHT (DURING DECEMBER 1 CONFERENCE NIGHT)
Are you interested in having your child take an AP class, but not sure what Advanced Placement (AP) is all about? Please attend our AP Parent meeting on December 1st at 6:00 PM in the High School Makerspace. Please contact Guidance Counselor Steve Barnes at 513-728-8430 with any questions. Please note: this meeting will take place during our December 1 conference night – registration information for conferences will be published in November.
YEARBOOK UPDATE
We anticipate receiving the 2021-2022 Yearbooks shortly after Thanksgiving and should have them ready for distribution in early December. We will be in touch with more details at that time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
CLASS OF 2023 ORDERING INFORMATION:
The deadline for Class of 2023 cap & gown, graduation, and spirit wear orders is just over a month away! After December 5, 2022, the price of the cap & gown will increase, and some graduation and spirit wear items may no longer be available. To order online, visit www.graduateserviceinc.com and search for “William H Harrison.” We also still have a limited number of hard copy order packets available in the main office.
