Traffic Pattern Update

Important

Harrison High School Families—

I wanted to send a reminder about our traffic pattern for arrival and dismissal and ask that you please take a moment to review it before we resume school next Tuesday.  You can find the color-coded map and details HERE.

A few notes regarding traffic:

  •         We understand that directing all of the West Road traffic east toward the roundabout is not ideal for some of our students and families, however, because of the Harrison Fire Station two minutes away, we must keep West Road clear in case of an emergency.  This traffic pattern allows us to do that.
  •         When you enter the lot to drop-off or pick-up, please pull up as far as possible and as close to the car in front of you as you can before stopping.  We will have staff on hand to direct and assist you.
  •         Please be patient with the staff and each other as we work through the first few weeks of arrival and dismissal together.  We utilized this pattern last year and after everyone was familiar with the flow and we established a routine, our lines were clear within ten minutes of dismissal.

Finally, senior parking will be in the lot nearest the main building and Mercy Health Clinic; underclassmen will park in the Activity Center lot and should enter the Activity Center and take the bridge to the main building.  Students are not permitted to park in any STAFF, VISITOR, MERCY HEALTH, or other reserved spaces.

Thank you for your attention to this important information, and please contact the office at 513-367-4169 with any questions.  We are looking forward to a great start to the 2022-2023 school year and we appreciate your help and cooperation with arrival and dismissal procedures!
