Important Emergency Notification Information

Posted on: November 16, 2018
Important Information

Southwest Parents and Guardians,

If you did not receive the two-hour delay call on Thursday, November 15, please read the following instructions:

Please check your US Mail for a letter which will include the emergency contact information we have on file for you.  We are making every effort to ensure that we have accurate information, so that when automated calls (weather delays, bus delays, and emergency information) are sent, they reach the appropriate person(s).  Automated calls are typically sent only to parents/guardians’ home numbers, cell numbers, and email addresses.  Calls will not be sent to emergency contacts and work numbers except in cases of an emergent nature.

If the information contained in the mailing is not correct, or if you do not receive the mailing, please complete your student’s Initial School Registration Form in our online forms software.  You may access this form at: https://southwest.payschools.com/

If you are unable to log in and complete this form, contact our Registrar at 513-728-8401, or email registrar@southwestschools.org.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TEXT MESSAGES TO PARENTS:  If your cell phone is correctly listed on the mailing, and you did not receive a text message regarding the two-hour delay on November 15, please follow the instructions on this document to opt-in to receive text messages.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TEXT MESSAGES TO STUDENTS (High School and Junior School only):  If you entered your cell phone number using the link distributed via Teams in early November, and you did not receive a text message regarding the two-hour delay on November 15, please follow the instructions on this document to opt-in to receive text messages.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING EMAILS TO PARENTS:  If your email address is correctly listed on the mailing, and you did not receive an email regarding the two-hour delay on November 15, please be sure that you have not previously unsubscribed from an SLSD or School Messenger email, and that the messages are not being sent to your spam folder.
