SLSD Health Update

As April wraps up, we enter the home stretch of a school year unlike any other.  Currently, we have no positive cases, district-wide.  We will remain vigilant with mask wearing through the end of this school year, or as long as the Governor’s order remains in effect.  Remember, if you are interested in getting the vaccine and have not done so already, there will be a clinic this Thursday at the Activity Center for anyone 16 and older.  More details and the link to sign up can be found HERE.

Graduation is right around the corner.  The Class of 2020 will be honored with an in-person Commencement ceremony on May 28 at 4:30 PM, followed immediately by the Class of 2021 ceremonies.  Seniors in the Class of 2020 who indicated their intention to participate in the ceremony will receive more information soon via email. Parents of seniors in the Class of 2021 have received the Parents’ Guide to Graduation, outlining all the specifics of this exciting time.
