William Henry Harrison High School’s varsity baseball team has been invited to play at Great American Ballpark and local residents can purchase tickets for the “Harrison Night.”
As part of a two game bundle at Great American Ball Park, those who purchase tickets the Harrison versus Lakota West “big league weekend game” on Saturday, April 21, at 1 p.m. also receive a ticket to the “Harrison Night” game, featuring the Reds versus the Atlanta Braves scheduled for Monday, April 23 at 6:40 p.m.
Before the Reds game on the 23rd, there will be a special Harrison parade on the field, recognizing a variety of Harrison high school groups, sports teams and clubs.
Tickets are $10 view level or $20 field level and are available for purchase at either the Junior School and Harrison High School’s main office. Tickets may also be purchased through band members and baseball team members or online at www.reds.com/Harrison.
“This is a great opportunity to watch our baseball team play on the major league field,” notes Mark Meibers, Athletic Director/Assistant Principal at Harrison High School. “And the two-game bundle is a wonderful way to support our team, while taking in a Reds game against the Braves. The special pre-game activities will feature many of our school groups and activities, a great way to showcase Harrison High School.”
Meibers notes that the high school band will play the National Anthem at both games and that this is the fourth consecutive year the varsity baseball team has been invited to play at Great American Ballpark.
