REMINDERS
Illnesses and Sick Notes

If your child needs to miss all or part of a P.E. class due to injury or illness, please let me know by writing me a note.  If your child is required to miss more than one week of P.E., I will need to have a doctor’s note.

 Gym Shoes

Please make sure that students wear the proper shoes to P.E. class.  A proper shoe for the gym is one that a student would wear for an athletic event.  It should be a shoe that is supportive and safe for movement.  If for some reason a student does not own proper shoes, please write a note to inform me of the situation

 Jewelry

Students are not allowed to wear jewelry in P.E. class.  The only exception is in regards to earrings.  Students may wear earrings assuming their own risk of wearing earrings.  In other words, I will not be liable for any student who is injured as a result of wearing earrings.  If a student wants to wear earrings, I would suggest that a stud earring be worn as opposed to a longer, more dangling type earring.

Grading Scale and Rules

Goals:

  1. Pick one goal to work on at a time.
  2. Keep your goal simple.
  3. Be persistent – golden "rule of thumb" is that it takes 21 days to break an old habit and form a new one.
