Radio Commercials

So far, there have been four radio commercials.

The first one was about abortion and education.  Kerri Hinkle recorded this one.

Abortion- We know that most people like to make their own decisions.  That is why we are pro-choice, because we believe that women should be able to make their own choice about abortion.  Kerry will make sure that women will be able to choose if they want to have abortion or not.

Education- Kerry has a plan to ensure Americans can make most of their talents.  He will give resources to every child no matter what their income, race, or family.  He will have schools that have teachers that care about students succeeding, and that all teachers should put their students first.

The second one was about economy and health care.  Chelsie Wyrich recorded this one.

Economy- Today, people are working harder, earning less, and paying more for health care, insurance, and college.  Opportunities for middle classes are shrinking, and it is time to bring them back.  Kerry thinks that we are stronger when building jobs here, not overseas, and he will also reward hard workers with tax breaks, not bills.  He will cut taxes for jobs here in America instead of sending them overseas, and enforce trade agreements.

Health Care- Kerry will lower family premiums up to $1,000 a year, cut waste from system, and lower the cost of prescription drugs.  He will give 95% coverage over every child and senior citizen.  He will also give families the equal amount of health care that the government gets.

The third one was about War in Iraq and the environment.  Brian Edwards recoded this one.

War in Iraq- Bush said that he would take every pre-caution in Iraq.  He actually went to war to win without a plan.  This was the wrong war at the wrong time.  Kerry says that Bush made wrong choices to lead us the wrong direction. Due to this war, we do not have enough resources at home.

Environment- We have the right to breathe unpolluted air, drink clean water, eat safe food, live in clean communities, and enjoy natural treasures.  In the past three years, our rights have eroded, gains roll-back, air polluted, and water contaminated.  John Kerry has cleaned toxic waste sites, kept our air and water clean, and protected wilderness areas.  He was named the environmental champion.  He will strive to protect our rights.

The last one was about gun control and immigration.  Brian Edwards also recorded this one.

Gun Control- Kerry believes more cops and tough laws can lead to more arrest, convictions, and safer communities.  He thinks that people who protect should be a priority now.  He also thinks that those who do break the law should be led to productive citizenship.

Immigration- Bush had a new approach to immigration, but his actions showed that he has indifference to this issue.  In Kerry’s plan, he will give a reform bill for immigrants in their first 100 days, including legislation and encouraging families.  He will strengthen our border protection against immigration loss, economy, and security.  He will strive for a safer and free nation.
