Winners of the Essay Contest to Lay a Wreath at the WWII Memorial. (Megan Koehler and Aimee Glindmeyer) They read the winning speeches to everyone at the Memorial.  The audience love it.  WW II Veterans asked if they could go up to the essays and read them again.  What a great experience for everyone involved.

The trip to D.C., Wednesday, April 21st and
Thursday, April 22nd:

"It is 9:41 PM on Thursday night. Things are great. Great weather here in D.C.;  82 degrees, no rain, and we saw everything on the itinerary. Kids are having fun but complaining about walking so much (ha ha). I also found out that none of them can sing!" ...email from Mr. Sowders
