Another great year!  We are very grateful to all students, parents, PTA, faculty and staff of Harrison Junior School for the awesomely successful year we have had!  There’s really no place quite like it!  We could not have done it without all of you!  For all your contributions, whether great or small, we thank you!

End of the year stuff!  Students and parents, who want the 4th Quarter Report Cards mailed to them should bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope to school for this purpose.  They may be given to homeroom teachers or dropped off in the office.  If no envelope is provided, you must stop by the HJS office when the notice is placed on the sign at the corner of West and Dry Fork. A notice will also be in the Harrison Press.  Please keep in mind students; report cards will not be released until any fines (lost books including text and or library books, lunch charges, Home Ec or Tech Ed, or all other class fees) are paid.

8th Grade Dance is May 23rd!  Are you ready for an evening of fun?   Are you ready to enjoy “Mardi Gras Magic”?   All 8th Graders at HJS are invited to attend this gala affair! (No students from other grades or schools however.)  Tuxes and other formal attire are definitely not required, and you can leave the limos at home!

*Parents may take pictures before the dance at 7:00 P.M.

*The reception starts at 7:30 P.M. (Faculty members are the servers!)

PTA Board says Thank You!  On behalf of the William Henry Harrison Jr./Sr. High School PTA Board, thanks to the teachers, staff, parents and students who have participated in programs this year.  The amount received from Biggs’s receipts and other fund raisers will help support various programs funded by the PTA throughout the year; 8th Grade Dance, Awards Programs, Scholarships, After Prom, etc.  We could not have achieved this without your support, and we thank you!  The PTA is in need of volunteers for the PTA Board, anyone interested should call Brenda Jonas at 513-367-6144.

Thank You To The Southwest Local School District Community

Mr. Westrich and I would like to thank all of the parents and members of the Southwest Community for the past 35 amazing years.  Southwest is a wonderful community and the people of the Great School District are the most caring and dedicated people we have ever met.  We thank you for allowing us to be part of your children’s lives and hope that we have had a positive impact on the children of the Southwest Community.  We will miss all of the great people we have been so fortunate to meet over the past 35 years.  Thanks for all your support.  Don Jostworth
