Here at HJS Character Counts!
Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year here at Harrison Junior
School. We are looking forward to the upcoming year! We want your child to have a
successful year at the Jr. School, and believe that you, along with the teachers, play a
key role. Your role is to continually show interest in and support for your
child. A child who knows that his or her family is interested in and supports the
school program will almost always have great success and fewer problems.
We believe in a fair and consistent discipline that encourages students to be responsible
for themselves. At school we try to create a safe environment where courtesy
prevails and where respect for others is expected.
Please share with your child's teacher any information regarding his or her special needs
that will help us better serve him or her. We believe that communication among
parents, students, and teacher is critical in assessing student success.

PTA Fundraisers:
The HJS PTA is collecting bigg's receipts, box tops and empty inkjet
cartridges. Just drop them off in the front office. There is also a Papa
John's fundraiser night for Harrison Junior School. It is the first Thursday
of each month. Just mention when you order that you are part of "School Night"
and 20% of your total order will be donated to the PTA.

Welcome to the Harrison Junior School Web Page. Our school is a 7th and 8th grade building of 730 students. The school has received the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award and the Ohio Middle School Association School of Excellence Award. The success of our school can be attributed to the outstanding staff we have, working with a very cooperative and supportive group of parents and students.
