Mr. Jostworth received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Xavier University and is a dissertation shy of receiving his doctorate through the University of Cincinnati.

In 1985, Jostworth was named Ohio Secondary School Principal of the Year and served president of the Ohio Middle School Association in 1996.  He now serves as the organization’s southwest regional representative.  He works with the University of Cincinnati and College of Mount St. Joseph, preparing students for a career as middle school teachers.

Under Jostworth’s guidance, the school was selected as a national Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1984 and was named one of Ohio’s outstanding middle schools in 1991.
