Showcase Music Festival 2002

                 We first want to congratulate Mr. Meeks on a job well done.  He worked with the 7th and 8th grade band in special sectionals and after school rehearsals.  The result for this years 2002 Showcase Music Festival are: 7th Grade Band- 1st place Middle School Instrumental Group, 8th Grade Band- 1st place Jr. High Instrumental Group, Jazz Band- 1st place Jazz Ensemble and Overall Grand Champion.

                   Also outstanding solo awards were given to: Patrick Robben- Concert and Jazz band, Olivia Schulte- Jazz band, Rebecca Bryant- Jazz band, Rachel Hiler- Jazz band, Troy Fette- Jazz band and Jeremy Lucy- Jazz band.

                We also would like to congratulate the chorus on a wonderful performance at Kings Island the same weekend. Congratulations to all band members on a great performance. We hope you enjoyed the trip and we can't wait until Disney!
