Mr. Sams' 4th Quarter Web Page Project
From May 1st to May 12th
This quarter we will be developing a Web page about a topic from Ch. 17-32. This page will only receive an "A" if it is of good enough quality for Mr. Sams to post it to the http://www.southwestschools.org Web site. Students will use FrontPage to create the Web page. Assistance will be given as necessary.
This will be a lengthy project in which it will be necessary for Mr. Sams' students to stay focused and responsible. Any student that proves to be incapable of using computers will be required to complete a 10 page written research paper instead of using the Internet/computers to do research and make their Web page.
There will be project checks along the way and daily work and effort will be graded. Students will be expected to keep track of their research and work. Proper behavior and a good work ethic are necessary. Work can be accomplished at home but students are still responsible for accomplishing work during class time. This project will be worth approximately 20% of their 4th quarter grade.
