Garden Club - Lead by Mrs. Michelle Price, the Garden Club meets in October & November on Thursdays after school.  They help prepare the courtyard garden for winter.  Students in 4th, 5th and 6th grade are welcome to participate.  Students weed, plant, water and tend to the garden plants.  The club meets again in the spring to spruce up the garden for spring.  They plant summer flowers and mulch to improve the garden's beauty.  Mrs. Price is looking for adult volunteers and company sponsorship to help fund this project. Cats Kids News - Supported by the Harrison Elementary PTA, the Cats Kids News meets weekly on Wednesday mornings at 8:00am.  Students interview, write, edit, and type their news articles.  The paper is then compiled and published 5 times per school year.  Mrs. Jenni Dillenburger is the PTA Volunteer, Mr. Bob Bundy is the news consultant and Mrs. Vicki Johnson is the faculty advisor.  Contact the Cats Kids News at Vicki.Johnson@southwestschools.org .
