The Southwest Local School District is located in the western part of Hamilton County. It encompasses Harrison, Harrison Township, Crosby Township, Whitewater Township and a small portion of Morgan Township (Butler County). There are six elementary buildings, a junior high and a high school. Crosby Elementary serves portions of northern Harrison Township, northern Crosby Township and Morgan Township. Miamitown Elementary serves parts of southern Crosby Township, eastern Whitewater Township and Miamitown. Hooven/Elizabethtown serves  the southern and eastern portion of the district in Whitewater Township and the areas of Hooven and Elizabethtown. Whitewater Valley serves the southern part of Harrison Township. Harrison Elementary serves the City of Harrison. The SLSD is located in the southwest corner of the state (hence the name Southwest).

We are located in the western part of Hamilton County.

Note: The Southwest Local School District also contains a small portion of Butler County's Morgan Township. The area is bounded by California Rd. on the west, Alert New London Rd. on the north, and Race Lane on the east.   Also, there is an Adobe pdf. document showing Hamilton County that will let you see all the municipality and township names.
