Meet Mrs. Hursh |

Hello! My name is Carrie Hursh and I teach
fourth grade here at Crosby...which I love! Crosby is such a warm and
friendly place. First, a little information about me. This 2008-2009 school year will be my sixteenth year teaching. I started teaching at Whitewater Valley (sixth grade), then moved to Harrison Elementary (first grade) and taught part-time while my two daughters were very little. After five years teaching first grade, I moved to Crosby Elementary and began teaching fourth grade. I have been here ever since! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Ohio University and my Masters in Elementary Education from Miami University. I live in Okeana, Ohio, with my husband, Michael, two daughters, Kaitlyn (age 11) and Emily (age 8) , and dog, Louie. We live about 7 minutes from Crosby and both of my children attended Crosby. As a family we like to travel to fun places (like Tennessee, New York, and Maine this summer), go on long hikes, play games, swim, travel to sporting events, grill out and play with our dog. Well, that is enough about me. I hope to meet you soon. Please stop by my room (#3) and introduce yourself! |
